Where is the crib? Where is this or that… ” And I was like, “People used to have babies in caves; it's going to be okay.”

15 Filming For KUWTK Comes Before School
In a family that has built their fortune around a reality TV show, it's safe to say that filming is a priority for the Kardashians. But many fans are surprised to learn that filming is considered so important, that it comes before the kids' education.
Multiple sources have confirmed both Kourtney and Kim go to great lengths to ensure their little ones are available for the cameras, including keeping them from school. Back in 2015, it was confirmed that Kourtney's eldest son, then-5-year old Mason, was being homeschooled to better fit with KUWTK's filming schedule.
“[Mason's] being homeschooled right now instead of being enrolled in kindergarten,” an insider explained at the time to Radar Online. “It has to be this way. He is shooting Season 11 of the show.”
14 The Kids Are On Gluten & Dairy-Free Diets
One of the best things about being a kid is being able to eat a ton of junk food without worrying about anything other than the taste! But it doesn't sound like the Kardashian-Disick kids get to enjoy a lot of the normal foods kids their ages eat. Kourtney has admitted to keeping her children on strict gluten-free and dairy-free diets.
"I kept battling with myself back and forth. I do believe that we have one life to live and I would like to live it feeling my best,”
Kourtney once wrote on her website. "I have noticed a great positive change in behavior with my children when we stick to a gluten-free and dairy-free diet." Sister Kim has also admitted to keeping her children on a similar, health-conscious diet.
13 They're Not Allowed To Use The Word “Fat”
Teaching your kids body positivity from a young age is crucial for building their self-worth! But it turns out the Kardashian sisters go the extra length when it comes to teaching their kids about self-love. Evidently, certain words that have a negative connotation in regards to appearance are banned from the Kardashian household.
Kourtney once snapped at her mom, Kris, for using the word “fat” around her daughter Penelope during a KUWTK episode. “Do you think I look fat?” Kris asked her eldest child, who responded by saying, “Don't use that word in front of my daughter, please.”
“There are so many conversations that we have without thinking the kids are listening,” Kourtney later said about the infamous scene. “I just don't want to start getting anybody self-conscious. They say if a mother is confident about her body that the daughters are way more likely to not have eating disorders."

Tons of parents nowadays are limiting their kids' time spent on technology, like phones and iPads- and Kourtney is one of them. The reality star has been open about restricting how much her children are consumed with electronics.
“They don't really play with iPads at all," she has said. "We used to let them use iPads at restaurants, but rules evolve as kids grow and we learned that didn't always work for us. We want to be able to communicate and have conversations with the kids while eating together-so we try not to have TV or iPads out during breakfast, lunch or dinner."
Kourtney adds that there are no electronics allowed during bedtime. “We never have iPads during this time, which the kids don't even miss, since they love our reading routine,” she said. "Every family is different, but these rules work for us!"

But it turns out Kourtney is pretty strict about who comes around her kids.
Sources say Kourtney completely banned Scott from introducing the kids to his new 19-year old girlfriend Sofia Richie until she knew she would actually stick around, who he began dating last fall. “[Kourtney] thinks Sofia is too young to be a good role model,” a source told Us Weekly. “She insists that Scott has to be in a serious relationship for at least six months before introducing a girlfriend to the children.”
As far as the media is concerned, it looks like the kids have been introduced to her beau, Younes Bendjima. The jury is still out on whether the Disick kids have met Sofia or not.

"Getting the kids to sleep through the night in my home was different for each individual child,” Kourtney has said of her controversial parenting technique. “When I had Mason, co-sleeping just kind of happened naturally. It's what worked for all of us to get the most sleep, so I quickly embraced it."
She continued, "With co-sleeping, I didn't have to get up out of bed to get the kids back to sleep whenever they woke during the night. It was easier when one of the kids woke up since I was right there. Co-sleeping just ended up feeling like we all got more sleep." Do you think Kourt has a point?
9 The Kids Re-Wear Each Others' Clothes
Most kids get their sibling's hand-me-downs because it doesn't make sense to spend money on perfectly good clothes. But in a family as wealthy as the Kardashians, you wouldn't think they'd be making sure to pass down their kids' clothes. But Kourtney does just that with her eldest son and daughter!
"With the clothes aspect [… ] I've kept a lot of Mason's clothes,” Kourtney once explained. “I'll even use them on Penelope as well, like little blazers, loafers, and some of his pants, even like a full suit and do a menswear like Saint Laurent look. “My son definitely has an opinion on what to wear,” Kourtney once said about her eldest son, Mason. “He gets himself dressed every day and likes to come out and show us his outfit, and we're not allowed to have a say in any of it.”
It turns out that Kim also likes letting her daughter North experiment with her outfits! "Every morning and every night is her time to shine," the celeb once said to the Vancouver Sun. "She can wear costumes, which she really loves. She wears wild pajamas. And then when we go out, she really just wears whatever I want. She makes it really easy. But we have that comprise."
6 Penelope's Outfit Should Match Kourtney's Outfit
Although Kourtney likes giving her kids the freedom to dress themselves, there have been times where she's made sure Penelope's look matched her own. Hey, who doesn't like a cute mother-daughter duo?
"I'm totally down for matching outfits. My mom always used to match us,” Kourtney once admitted. “I think it's really cute and it helps me get dressed too, even if it's not exactly matching.” She continued, “If I know Penelope is wearing black jeans it'll help me. I'll be like, 'I'll throw on my black jeans!' It makes everything go quicker and it's difficult enough to get everyone ready and out the door - so I just use that as a guide of what they're wearing."
Do you think matching outfits with your kid is cute or a huge no-no?
5 The Nannies Must Call Kourtney “Madam”

With a lifestyle as crazy as the Kardashians, it's no wonder their children have unconventional schedules. But Kourtney admits she's learned to abandoned schedules altogether and instead takes a 'go-with-the-flow' when it comes to raising her kids.
“I was struggling with that for a while, wondering what is the best thing. I think you do whatever fits your lifestyle. Some people have things planned from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., which works for them,” she once explained about becoming a mom for the first time.
Kourtney went on, “But honestly, the best thing for Mason is just to be with me. When we are out, we just have so much fun. If we are cruising around, and he is napping in the car, it's not the worst thing in the world.”

“I steam and puree fruits and vegetables, and they last for like four days. Mason pretty much loves everything. [… ] I have this great book called Super Baby Food that's full of ideas. I should be on this Mason diet!”
Her mom Kris added, “Who knew she would be that excited about a baby-food maker? I bought her a million handbags, and I never got that reaction.”
