The Cast Of Zoey 101 What They Looked Like In Their First Episode vs. Now

It feels like just yesterday that we were fantasizing about walking the halls of Pacific Coast Academy, chatting it up with Zoey Brooks and her band of wacky but lovable friends. It's hard to believe that it's been thirteen whole years since the show actually premiered. Do you feel old yet? If you feel like taking a walk down memory lane and reminiscing about your youth, we're here to help.

We've scoured the depths of the internet to find out what the entire cast of this beloved show has been up to in the last decade or so. As expected, some have fared better than others. You're guaranteed to be surprised at many of these transformations. From near death experiences to heroic deeds, we can assure you this cast has stayed busy. Check out our list below to see who did what, and find out the number of cast members that are now proud moms and dads! Many of their little ones will be old enough to attend PCA in just a few more years. We can already imagine the potential of that spin-off idea. You're welcome, Nickelodeon.

15 Paul Butcher, Who Played Zoey's Little Brother, Dustin Brooks, Has Grown Up A LOT

Paul Butcher grew up to be quite the teenage heartthrob! Since leaving the show, Paul has guest starred in a number of TV shows and acted in a few short films as well. His main focus these days is music, and his successful YouTube channel “ThePaulButcher” proves it. Paul regularly uploads covers as well as his own original music to his twenty-eight thousand subscribers. There's even a video of him interviewing the Maze Runner cast on there, so he's clearly diversified his interests. Paul has also made quite a few headlines because people are impressed by how handsome he grew up to be. He's fairly active on all of his socials, so check him out if you want to see more!

14 Matthew Underwood, Who Played Logan Reese, Saved A Baby's Life

It seems that Matthew Underwood pretty much stopped acting after Zoey ended, but he's been doing something even better: saving lives! In April of 2017, Matthew and his brother witnessed a car swerving across six lanes of traffic before crashing into a tree in Port St. Lucie, Florida. The quick-thinking duo ran over to the vehicle as they called 911. They found a four-month-old baby in the backseat of the car, along with his unconscious parents. The baby was luckily unharmed, so it's very fortunate that Matthew and his brother were there! While we respect Matthew's desire to stay out of the limelight for a bit, we certainly wouldn't complain if he decided to grace our screens again. Perhaps with a role on Chicago Fire or something similar. Seems like it'd be pretty fitting!

13 Erin Sanders, Who Played Quinn Pensky, Is A Yoga Guru

Lovable science nerd and inventor Quinn Pensky was certainly one of our favorite characters on the show. As you can see, Erin has beauty and brains. Since the end of Zoey, Erin has acted in quite a few roles. She played Camille in Big Time Rush, a role that the creator apparently made for her, in addition to starring many television shows including Mad Men and Castle. Though Erin continues to act in a number of independent films, she now has a second job as a yoga instructor! Who would have thought?! According to her website, Erin has been practicing yoga for over 20 years, meaning she started at the ripe old age of seven. Talk about an overachiever! If you've ever dreamed of doing yoga with Quinn Pensky, just hop on over to the LA area and you can make this dream come true!

12 Christopher Massey, Who Played Michael Barret, Created A Rap Duo With His Famous Little Brother

Because we're full of fun-facts today, we'll let you in on a particularly wild one. Christopher Massey is the older brother of Kyle Massey from That's So Raven and Cory in The House. Wild, right?! These days, the brothers work together on a number of projects. They've even formed a rap duo called The Massey Boyz. The Massey family was also featured on Family Feud last year, where they won $25,000 for their favorite charity, the Starkey Hearing Foundation. Christopher is also a dad now. He has a two-year-old named Mariah and she's featured in a song he released in 2017 called “Song For Mariah.” It doesn't get much cuter than that! To hear more of Christopher's music you can check him out on Spotify and Soundcloud.

11 Sean Flynn, Who Played Chase Matthews, Almost Lost It All In 2016

You'll be happy to know that Sean is still the kind, lovable guy we remember Chase being. Perhaps he wasn't acting much at all! Since the show ended, Sean returned to school (he's currently studying math). He also continued acting, however. Sean starred in a few episodes of Devious Maids in 2014, as well as a TV movie in 2015. Unfortunately, in 2016, Sean was hit by a car while he was on his way to school. The driver sped off, and poor Sean suffered a nearly severed foot and several broken bones. It seems that Sean has taken some time off acting since then, but we're sure he'll return eventually, it's in his blood! Fun fact: Sean's family is largely involved in the entertainment business and his father is a well-known Hollywood producer.

10 Alexa Nikolas, Who Played Nicole Bristow, Got Married… And Divorced

Alexa left Zoey after the second season, and you may not know that it was because of her rumored feud with Jamie Lynn. It's more than a decade later, so we certainly hope both women have moved on. After the show, Alexa continued acting. She appeared in shows like The Walking Dead and Mad Men, but Alexa's IMDB page doesn't list any acting credits past 2013. Alexa married Canadian musician Mike Milosh in 2012, but they divorced in 2016, so we think that may have been the reason for her break from acting. In 2017, it seems Alexa mostly spent time traveling around the world to partake in a photography project. Though we're not quite sure where Alexa's career will take her, we believe she'll find ways to express her creative spirit regardless.

9 Kristin Herrera, Who Played Dana Cruz, Quit Acting And Is Engaged

After Zoey 101 Kristin continued acting. She had a reoccurring role General Hospital which she continued until 2008. She also starred in the film Freedom Writers with Oscar winner Hilary Swank. Unfortunately, it seems Kristin gave up acting soon after this role. If you're wondering why Kristin and other child stars give up their careers so seemingly early, we'd suggest it's probably because they start working so early! Kristin began acting in commercials when she was six, meaning she'd already had a thirteen-year-old acting career by the time she quit. In 2016, Kristin announced that she was engaged on her Instagram. Since then her page has been made private, but her wedding date is believed to be set for next month. Congrats, Kristin!

8 Abby Wilde, Who Played Stacey Dillsen, Has Been In Two Other Nickelodeon Shows

Abby Wilde is another one of the stars of Zoey that went on to become a Nickelodeon vet. She reprised her famous role as Stacey Dillsen in both iCarly and Sam and Cat. Abby continues to act, but she's moved from the screen to the stage. She now lives in New York and acts in a number of plays. Though this may seem like a change, Abby's background is actually mostly in theater, so we consider Zoey her short foray into the television world. Abby is clearly working on expanding her repertoire, however, as she recently did voiceover work for a film set to come out this year called Maturing Youth. Even though we may not be seeing her on television anytime soon, it's nice to know Abby is still acting!

7 Victoria Justice, Who Played Lola Martinez, Is Basically The Biggest Star From The Show

Since the end of the show, Victoria Justice has made quite a name for herself in both the acting and music worlds. Zoey 101 is certainly not what she's best known for, since she had her own successful show, Victorious, on Nickelodeon for three years. Victoria went on to star in films like Fun Size and Naomi and Ely's No Kiss List, as well as shows like Eye Candy and Undateable. She also dabbled in music, releasing albums for the musical show Victorious, as well as some of her own singles. We haven't seen much of Victoria in 2018 so far, but she has two films in the works called Bigger and Summer Night. This young starlet is just gearing up, we can't wait to see what else she has in store for us in!

6 Jack Salvatore Jr, Who Played Mark Del Figgalo, Used To Be A Viner And Now Does Stand-Up

Don't fret, though you may not have seen Jack Salvatore on your screen in the last few years, he is still active in the entertainment industry. Jack may not act anymore, but he still works as a writer and stand-up comedian. Jack also has quite the social media presence. He became a Viner a few years ago before the platform died, and he maintains a YouTube Channel that he sometimes posts his stand-up on. According to his IMDB page, Jack has dabbled in everything from production to editing since leaving Zoey 101. He even worked on Victorious and Sam and Cat! Ever the chameleon, we're sure Jack will continue to find new ways to entertain us. We certainly wouldn't rule out the possibility of seeing him return to Nickelodeon!

5 Austin Butler, Who Played James Garrett, Has Been Dating Disney Alum Vanessa Hudgens For Seven Years

Austin Butler played James Garrett, roommate to Logan and Michael, and Zoey's boyfriend for a brief period. He only starred in a few episodes of the show, but we like to believe he was pretty memorable. Austin has since starred in a number of popular teen shows including Life Unexpected, Switched At Birth, and The Carrie Diaries. It's pretty clear that Austin wants to stick with acting in the long run, and you can also keep up with him through the adorable posts he and girlfriend Vanessa Hudgens post of each other on Instagram. It's hard to believe, but Austin and the High School Musical alum have been dating for about seven years now! There were even rumors that the duo was engaged late last year, which Vanessa denied. Here's to hoping!

4 Jamie Lynn Spears, Who Played Zoey Brooks, Is A Mom And A Musician

As you may recall, Zoey 101 came to an end after Jamie Lynn became pregnant with her first child, Maddie Aldridge. Jamie herself is still pretty young (she's only 26), but Maddie is all grown up! Jamie Lynn took to Instagram in late 2017 to announce that the ten-year-old was going to be a big sister soon! Jamie Lynn married her husband Jamie Watson (imagine the confusion!) in 2014 after breaking up with Maddie's father Casey Aldridge. Though Jamie Lynn gave up acting, she's continued working on music even during her time away from the spotlight. She released a country music EP called The Journey in 2014 and most recently had a single called “Sleepover” in 2016. It's clear that musical talent runs in the family, as Jamie Lynn has a lovely voice. Hopefully, we'll be getting to hear more of it. Perhaps even a duet with big sister Britney?

3 Jessica Chaffin, Who Played Coco Wexler, Was In Pitch Perfect 3

You may remember Jessica Chaffin as the very peculiar dorm advisor Coco Wexler, or you might recognize her from the plethora of roles she's had since Zoey. It may even be easier to list the number of shows and films she hasn't been in! Jessica has guest starred in everything from Weeds, Entourage, 90210, New Girl, and Veep. Though Jessica has also had a few film roles, her biggest film role yet was probably from 2017, when she played Evan in Pitch Perfect 3. While many of the show's cast has taken breaks at one point or another, Jessica shows no signs of slowing down. Jessica also keeps busy by performing as one half of comedy duo Ronna and Beverly at Los Angeles' Upright Citizen's Brigade theaters. We're betting on seeing her again on the big screen very soon.

2 Allen Evangelista, Who Played Firewire, Starred In Secret Life

Nicknamed “Firewire,” Allen's character's real name was actually Wayne Gilbert. Like Quinn, Firewire played a science nerd and techie on the show. Allen went on to play Henry Miller on The Secret Life Of An American Teenager, that little-known show that gave Shailene Woodley her first big break. Secret Life was probably Henry's most popular role, though he also guest-starred on shows like Ghost Whisperer and Brooklyn Nine- Nine. Allen became a father to a little boy named Hudson in 2011, and he married his longtime girlfriend Christina Burhoe two years later. Allen and Christina had their second child in just January of this year, so we can understand why he may be taking a break from acting.

1 Roark Critchlow, Who Played Mr. Brooks, Has Played A Lot Of Dad Roles Since

Mr. Brooks was only in a few episodes of the show, but he did have the prestige of being the main character's father. Roark has been acting for longer than most of the Zoey cast has been alive, and he's kept up an impressive bit of momentum. Roark is still one of the most active actors from the show, and he's gone on to play a lot of television dads. The most notable of these is probably his role as Hanna Marin's father in Pretty Little Liars. In real life, Roark is actually a father of three, so life imitates art and all that. You may not know that Roark is Canadian and that most importantly (to us), he guest-starred in an episode of Charmed. Is Roark the world's coolest dad or what?
