10 Uber-Rich Celebs Who Dress Like Total Normies (& 10 Who Love Their Designer Brands)

In case it isn't blindingly obvious, celebrities are digging the designer. Nicki Minaj's Queen album has an entire track called "Coco Chanel." Kanye West might not be the most popular guy around, but he has dropped Louis Vuitton 19 separate times on his tracks. Cardi B? She parks her "Bentley truck in [her] Versace driveway."

Celebrities wearing designer clothes has just about reached ridiculous. Kim Kardashian has given an infant a $50,000 Hermès bag "to paint." This woman (and her entire family) are a giant carousel of Versace, Prada, Fendi, and Dior, and it doesn't end there. Stormi Webster and True Thompson have Gucci bibs and baby Burberry outfits.

Designer shopping seems to be the first status symbol that high-earning celebs go for. "Jenny From The Block" kind of disappeared in Givenchy and $5,000 Louis Vuitton purses. Justin Bieber grew up so poor, he'd order water instead of soda. This guy now wears matching Versace outfits with Hailey Baldwin.

There are two sides, though. While one half of Hollywood empties Rodeo Drive's boutiques in one go, the other half are dressing like the biggest normies we've ever seen. Multi-millionaires like Taylor Swift, Emma Watson, and Mila Kunis are dressing like they don't have a dime to their name - despite having been the face of major brands.

They're either one or the other - 50% are Old Navy and Converse versus 50% are custom-made Valentino and Alexander Wang. Here are 10 celebs who dress like complete normies (plus 10 who are dripping in designer).

20 Taylor Swift: Grocery Runs In $60 Converse

Taylor Swift made a lot of headlines when her annual paycheque was revealed by Forbes to be $170 million a year. Call it a "Reputation." Call it a "Blank Space" (for however much she'll earn this year). The queen of power squads, cats, and wooly sweaters might earn more in a year than we ever will in a lifetime, but she doesn't dress like it.

Wardrobe breakdown: $58 Topshop shirts, $32 ASOS shorts, and $60 Converse sneakers.

Taylor has her Louis Vuitton moments, but they're few and far between. Proving that stylish can be affordable, thank you, Taylor Swift.

19 Kim Kardashian: Louis Vuitton Trash Cans & A Vocab To Match

"There's a lot of baggage in our family. But it's like Louis Vuitton baggage." Kim Kardashian is so designer, even her words are designer. In 2018, Kim rocked the Internet by posing in a Fendi bodysuit next to what appeared to be Louis Vuitton trash cans.

While Kim's day job seems to be acting as a walking billboard for Yeezy, her "off-duty" wardrobe is designer as it gets. Gucci sweaters for chilling, vintage Versace for 2Chainz's wedding, and easily emptying Chanel in one go.

Put it this way, to give us a sneak peak ahead of her Versace MET Gala gown, Kim posted a pic of herself on Versace sheets.

18 Ariana Grande: Knicks Sweatshirt In The Pouring Rain

There's a reason that websites like Steal Her Style have entire sections dedicated to Ariana Grande. Ariana has definitely upped her style game (Gucci boots and those $400 Yeezy sweatshirts don't come cheap), but the default look is 100% normie.

Here is what Ariana wears during an NYC downpour: $54 American Apparel pants, a Knicks sweater that she totally stole off Rachel from Friends, plus Reebok sneakers.

"My best fashion advice would be just to do what makes you comfortable and what makes you feel cute." Ariana is also brave enough to say: "I don't feel much pressure to fit in."

17 Hailey Baldwin: When Your Versace Needs More Versace

Hailey Baldwin is a weird one. Super-scruffy, grungy style with messy hair are this model's trademark look, but the prices are anything but scruffy. Being engaged to Justin Bieber definitely gets you perks (like a $5 million mansion), but it's Hailey's wardrobe that gets scrutinized the most.

This matching Versace denim look clocks in at $13,500 for the logo-stamped jacket, plus another $12,500 for the jeans. Hailey accessorized this denim-on-denim outfit with the $3,390 Fendi Peekaboo bag. Wearing $80 Adidas sneakers seems a bit of a joke compared to the rest of the outfit, particularly since Hailey is often spotted in Louis Vuitton sneakers.

16 Kaley Cuoco: $1 Million Per Episode, Still Looks Like Us

The sheer amount of money this girl is worth? In 2017, Forbes reported that the cast of The Big Bang Theory was now earning a staggering $1 million per episode. No TV show has managed this since Friends, and that stopped airing over 10 years ago.

The $1 million per episode technically dropped to $900,000 to allow lower-profile cast members a raise, but Kaley remains one of the highest-paid women on TV. Her wardrobe? Gym shorts, tanks, baseball caps, and flip-flops.

100% the outdoorsy girl, Kaley is more into horseback riding and yoga than Rodeo Drive's boutiques. We searched the internet for Kaley's Louis Vuitton. We found one pic.

15 Kylie Jenner: $1 Million Purse Closets, Zero Concept Of Reality

Just watch Kylie Jenner giving her purse closet video tours. A "little home" where all her purses are "lit up really pretty" is the reality that this soon-to-be billionaire lives in, although Kylie is up for sharing- a pink Hermès bag has already been selected for baby Stormi.

$1 million is Harper's Bazaar's estimate of Kylie's purse collection. Stormi rolls around in a $12,500 Fendi. Kylie pretty much has Donatella Versace on speed dial.

Kylie is a self-declared member of Alexander Wang's "Wang Gang." Her sneakers are Gucci (and she only wears them once). Literally whether Stormi will ever recognize a dollar bill is an actual reality.

14 Khloe Kardashian: Surprisingly Normie For A Kardashian

With a fierce physique and her exploding Good American denim line, Khloe Kardashian has risen from background character to mainstream celebrity. When you're a Kardashian, you're a Kardashian, though.

Khloe's crocodile-skin Hermès purse may be worth $185,000, but her street style is as many sweatpants as she can get away with. Take this look. The heels say: "Kardashian," but the Adidas says: "normie."

New mom, Khloe recently got the all-clear from her doctor to start working out again. She has already lost 33 lbs of baby weight, and her recent IG update told us that she's "in a better place." This girl is solid. Thumbs-up.

13 Paris Hilton: No Surprises, There

Privilege isn't something that Paris Hilton has ever chosen to hide. She grew up rich, everybody knew it, and we were interested enough in the whole affair to watch a TV show about it. The Simple Life it may have been, but the contents were anything but basic. Paris made a name for herself as Little Miss Luxury, and where she goes, so do Chanel, Prada, and Moschino.

Paris earns her own cash, though. In 2015, Paris' 18th fragrance marked $2 billion in sales for the reality star. Meanwhile, Paris' DJ sets can net her $1 million per night. Chanel is Paris' best friend, and she doesn't care who knows it.

12 Selena Gomez: Fronted Louis Vuitton, Still Dresses Like This

Type in Selena Gomez into a search engine and "affordable looks" will be one of the drop-down options. The world's most-followed Instagram account might be worth tens of millions in endorsement potential alone, but the girl behind it couldn't care less about the fancy labels.

"People who act entitled… UGH!" Selena's biggest pet peeve directly translates to her style. Stick this girl in Levi's and she's happy.

Selena has been the face of Louis Vuitton. Her current Coach collaboration is hardly hobo material. While Selena will dress up when the occasion requires it, her default look is Urban Outfitters, $45 sweaters, and the Puma sportswear that she now fronts.

11 JLO: No Jenny From The Block

When The Sun reported that Jennifer Lopez "demands" up to $20 million per American Idol cycle, nobody was surprised. JLO entered "diva" territory decades ago, but her hard work ethic has paid off.

"Don't be fooled by the rocks that I've got… I'm still Jenny From The Block." Remind us how The Bronx came with Versace and diamond-encrusted headphones?

JLO might front athleisurewear campaigns in leggings, but her closet is overflowing with Versace. Her speedboat demands, according to Business Insider include diamond-encrusted headphones and "meltdowns" if her M&Ms aren't plain. Jen is a style queen, but she's paying royal prices.

10 Britney Spears: Uber Rich, Still Never Left The Trailer Park

How has this girl not trademarked "The Parking Lot Look?" Britney Spears might be rolling in cash, but the humble Southern roots never went anywhere.

100% not caring about rocking up to Walmart in stained sweats and torn tees, Britney has made a name for herself as one of Hollywood's most casual dressers.

How stylish Britney's streetwear is might be a matter of taste, but this is a girl who tasted fame, took the parts she wanted, and left the #Pretentious behind. The Britney Spears effect hasn't worn off despite this star approaching 40, and we're kind of digging the relaxed attitude.

9 Nicki Minaj: "Fendi Prints On, Bentley Tints On"

Where to even start with Nicki Minaj? The video of Nicki receiving a limited edition Chanel purse is a straight-up meltdown. The cover of "Chun Li" isn't just a Fendi fur jacket. It's Fendi everything.

"Fendi prints on, Bentley tints on." Nicki Minaj sticks Fendi in her lyrics, on her covers, and she was front row at the Paris Fendi show.

There's some variety, though. We've seen Nicki in a full Burberry bodysuit with matching cap. Then there was the Versace getup (complete with a BFF-style selfie with Donatella Versace herself). Nicki is the Queen, and she 100% dresses like one.

8 Cameron Diaz: $140 Million, Happy With A Hobo Wardrobe

You'd expect a Hollywood starlet with a glittering career to dress accordingly. Not Cameron Diaz. $140 million is what this actress has earned herself over the years, but she isn't spending it at Gucci. Cameron has taken somewhat of a hippie turn- ditching Hollywood for a carefree lifestyle seems to be her vibe, although the pregnant star is still papped wherever she goes.

Loose harem pants, baggy sweaters, and scruffy hair do it just fine for Cam. She'll always have the looks, but we've got to admit- with the rubber-dressed Kardashians dominating Hollywood, this look is pretty refreshing. Oh, and did we mention that Cameron pulls her own stunts?

7 Gigi Hadid: Louis Vuitton Bag, Gucci Shoes, Calls Herself "Casual"

Yes, it's the "it" girl of 2018 that nobody can get enough of. With her baby blue eyes and cherub features, Gigi Hadid is the supermodel of the moment. With Kendall Jenner for a BFF and Bella Hadid for a sister, Gigi is well-placed.

Gigi grew up in an $85 million mansion. "I'd always mix my workout clothes and have my sneakers in my purse." Right, when the purse is Louis Vuitton…

Business Insider has followed Gigi's privileged upbringing carefully. There's nothing wrong with it (and being the face of Reebok and Fendi earns you big bucks), but Gigi's casual style isn't what it seems.

6 Bella Hadid: Probably DM'ing Karl Lagerfeld

"Word to my Gigi, Bella." Nicki Minaj may be giving these two sisters a nod in her lyrics, but it's precisely because they're up in the designer circle that Nicki lives for. Bella Hadid is the face of the ultra-luxurious Bulgari jewelry brand, plus she just walked for Versace and countless other designers during 2018 Fashion Week.

Bella has been snapped at airports with $3,390 Fendi totes. Her sneakers and shorts are Louis Vuitton. Most of her IG is a steady carousel of designer looks, and her street style is no different. Bella might wear Nike sneakers, but it ends there.

5 Mila Kunis: Probably Doesn't Have A Phone

"Wear makeup, don't wear makeup. Do whatever makes you comfortable." Mila Kunis is an actress who is known for "raising her kids poor," and she knows a thing or two about making ends meet.

Mila's family moved to the US with just $250 to their name. Mila shot to superstardom, but the millions never tempted her to shop high-end.

Street style goals like we've never seen… Mila can rock ripped denims, plain tees, ponytails, and flip-flops, and she still looks sensational. World of Warcraft is one thing Mila treats herself to- but even we can afford that. Come to think of it, Mila doesn't spend much at Sephora, either.

4 Blac Chyna: Louis Vuitton Case Or No Phone

Oh, Blac Chyna. Always trying to keep up with those Kardashians. Kind of managing it, though. Slam her all you like, but Chyna is raking in the dough from her Instagram endorsements, public appearances, and lashes line. With Rob Kardashian as her baby daddy, Chyna is also conveniently connected.

Here is Blac Chyna showing us how "basic" our phone cases are. That might be because the Louis Vuitton iPhone case retails for up to $1200, but this girl can afford it. Chyna is no Kim K in the finances department, but she's got enough in the bank to shop at Fendi.

3 Gal Gadot: Reebok Don't Pick Divas

That's right they don't. The Times of Israel has reported Gal Gadot's Reebok deal to be worth around what she demands for a movie. With a Dwayne Johnson one in the works, Gal is set to see a lot more cash flow in.

$10 million is Gal Gadot's reported contract with Reebok. You're looking at a stunt puller who shot Wonder Woman while she was pregnant, and no- Gal doesn't walk around in Balenciaga.

Gal gives interviews in old rubber flip-flops and denim cut-offs. The red carpet is the only place you'll see the Wonder Woman actress wearing designer gowns. The rest of the time? She's in the gym.

2 Jennifer Aniston: Aveeno Doesn't Hire Primadonnas

The original, All-American sweetheart, Jennifer Aniston has been throwing us street style goals for over 20 years. Also, quite how this woman is 49 is beyond us. Jen's accessories are more Smartwater than Saint Laurent, although Jen is the face of the famous water brand.

$1 million per episode is what Jen was earning in later seasons of Friends- and that's not counting her movie and endorsement salaries. High-end comfort is Jen's style. Think 7 For All Mankind jeans and the odd Ralph Lauren shirt, but by and large, it's jeans, cute tees, biker jackets, and sturdy boots. Aveeno chose this low-maintenance girl for a reason.

1 Kendall Jenner: Alienating Girls, One Dior Shirt At A Time

Kendall Jenner is definitely the black sheep of her famous family. Swinging by In-N-Out in her vintage Corvette gives this model a decidedly hipster edge, but her IG following is more guys than girls. Kendall can seem standoffish- perhaps because she is a little shy. That said, she doesn't shy away from designer purchases.

Kendall's personalized "Bore Me" Louis Vuitton bag is worth $20,000. Her IG updates are simply captioned: "Prada." Life might lit for Kendall, but the lights are lining a boulevard of designer stores.

20 faces. You either love them or you can't stand them. Hit share on Facebook for anyone who needs a reminder of how casual is done (plus anyone who just lives for designer everything).
